Update 5 January 2011: Absolutely delighted to tell you that the beautiful Faith has been adopted

During this week’s visit to Bath Cats and Dogs Home I was asked to photograph Faith, a two year old female Bull Terrier – who is completely gorgeous! Faith has had a very hard start in life and truly deserves to find a loving family. I think she is an amazing little girl.
I know the Bull Terrier beauty is not for everyone, but really, how could anyone resist this gorgeous girl?
It’s rather cold at the moment so Faith was wearing this very sweet pink coat. She instantly reminded me of Piglet!
Faith is such a sweet girl and we stopped for lots of strokes and snuggling during our walk.
She walked VERY nicely on a flat collar and lead, a real pleasure to walk.
The weather was a tad miserable and I got the feeling that Faith would have preferred that we had snuggled up on a cosy sofa somewhere!
Isn’t she just utterly adorable?!
Faith is looking for a home without young children and where she is the only dog, although she does walk out well with other dogs (and she didn’t react badly to any of the dogs we encountered from a distance on our walk).
She would suit an active home with experienced owners and is fine to be left for short periods.
Although she has been known to be protective over her owners, she is very friendly and affectionate when meeting new people – indeed she had given me gentle chin kisses within a few minutes of meeting her (I had crouched down to say hello, she didn’t jump up).
Faith has the most wonderful ears …
And a cute little tail … and she might even be allowed to take her Piglet coat to a new home, if you ask nicely!
Faith hopes a very special home all of her very own is out there somewhere …
It’s tough, putting them back into their kennel and walking away
I just hope these photos will help her to find the special home that she very much deserves.
She really is such a beautiful and loving girl. Another one I would have loved to have brought home!
