ADOPTED ~ Flash ~ Awww Awww

Update: Flash and his friend Tiny were adopted together:)

Well … this was going to be a look at this wonderful dog who is looking for a home blog, but in between me photographing him and getting the photos sorted and the blog live, Flash has been reserved! And better news yet, whoever has reserved him also wants to adopt the dog you can see in one of the photos with him, and take the pair of them home! How wonderful is that:)

I am still going to tell you about Flash though, because he is gorgeous, so I thought you might still like to see his photos; he’s another example of the lovely dogs you can find in rescue; and because you can then smile with me about him getting a reserve! Good luck Flash and Tiny!

This week, I got to meet, walk and photograph the lovely Flash, a six year old Staffie (Staffordshire Bull Terrier), who is being rehomed by Bath Cats and Dogs Home.

Flash is a very sweet and friendly boy who would make a great family dog. He loves cuddles and meeting people and is good with children of all ages. He is also good with most dogs and should be fine to be left for a few hours during the day, in a new home:)

Flash is pretty easy going, but still young at heart. I think he’d be very much up for fun and adventure with a new family – probably followed by snuggles on the sofa:)

He is a lovely little thing – and doesn’t he have amazing ears?

And he is VERY handsome:wink:

Flash was very pleased to be going out and walked nicely. He was happy to walk a little ahead of me, but he certainly wasn’t pulling constantly.

I think he would make a loving and loyal best friend for his new family.

While we were out, we encountered a group of 5-6 dogs running loose and then a family outing/picnic and he wasn’t fazed, just seemed quite keen to make new friends (especially with the picnic people )

As mentioned already, Flash is good with most other dogs and has made a friend in Tiny, the Greyhound (also looking for a home). Their carer tells me that they enjoy spending time together in the run. Aren’t they both gorgeous?

Flash is hoping his forever family is out there, somewhere ~ might that be you, or someone you know?

He really is a sweet boy who deserves to be in a loving home – I so hope he finds it very soon. Good luck Flash, it was lovely to meet you!

Here’s a little video clip to introduce the lovely boy:

and an out-take that made me chuckle!

If you are looking to adopt a dog from rescue, please take a look at all the gorgeous dogs at Bath Cats & Dogs Home. There are lots of dogs shown on the website, but also new dogs arriving all the time, so if you are local and serious about bringing a rescue dog into your lives, do pop up to the home for a visit.

The home will rehome out of area too, but if you are traveling some distance, you might prefer to phone them first to check the dog you are interested in, is still available.
