Wow, well we are certainly enjoying some gorgeously sunny weather here in the UK at the moment! Amazing contrast to the pretty miserable summers of recent years. My dogs love the sun and I do let them sunbathe, but even though we have a garden with good shade, I do the responsible Mummy bit and make sure they don’t overdo it.
It seems like such an obvious reminder, to say don’t leave your dog in the car in this weather, but I’ve already read of two dogs very sadly losing their lives in recent weeks, after their owners left them in their cars, so please … don’t leave your dog in a car. The suffering they must have gone through doesn’t bear thinking about, does it?
Enjoy the nice weather with your dog, safely. Keep them at home when appropriate. Bring them in from the garden when it’s too hot. Ensure they have access to fresh water at all times. Love them. Lots.
